Creighton and Wynot were both knocked out of the Nebraska high school football playoffs after semifinals losses on Monday.
Creighton, seeded third in their Class D1 bracket, fell to fifth-seeded Exeter-Milligan 20-8.
The game was tied 8-8 at the half, with Creighton getting a first half touchdown from Jacob Morrill. After the T-Wolves scored to make it 14-8 in the third quarter, Creighton gave away a chance to tie the game, fumbling at the one yard line.
The Bulldogs finish the season at 11-1, while the Timberwolves (12-0) advance to play Hemingford in the D1 championship game November 25 at 10:15 AM in Lincoln. Hemingford defeated Overton 44-26 in the other D1 semifinal.
Wynot lost to top-seeded Falls City Sacred Heart, 61-44, in a Class D2 semifinal.
The Blue Devils (11-1) fell behind 20-0 but rallied to cut the lead to 40-32 at the half.
The Irish (12-0) will play Start in the D2 championship game on Monday, November 25 at 2:45 PM. Stuart beat Amherst 30-8 in the other D2 semifinal.
