Martin Castellanos makes plea in first-degree murder case

A Sioux City man said he's not guilty of murder.  20-year-old Martin Castellanos has been charged with first degree murder in the shooting death of Adrian Rojas-Hernandez.

Last month, police said Castellanos, Rojas-Hernandez and Ricardo Vital went to Vital's house on West 15th Street. Vital

told police, he fell asleep and when he woke up Castellanos shot and killed Rojas-Hernandez.

Vital said he cleaned up the blood.

Police said Castellanos then put the body in a vehicle, dumped it in a ditch in Lincoln County South Dakota and set it on fire.

Vital has also pled not guilty to accessory after the fact.

His trial is set for next month.
