PIERCE, Neb. (KTIV) -
Bids are piling up for a chance to own one of the cars from the Lambrecht Chevy collection in Pierce, Nebraska.

About 500 cars were sold to the highest bidder in the original auction, but the bidders didn't pay up for 18 of them.

It's a second shot at a once in a lifetime opportunity.

The second chance auction for some collectible vehicles is online.  The bidding started last week and bidders are jumping at the chance to own one of the cars from Pierce, Nebraska.

There are 18 vehicles up for the second chance sale.  They were sold during the two-day auction in September, but the bidders never completed the transactions, which means here's your chance to own one.

There's a '73 Malibu Coupe, '58 Delray, '58 Ford Fairlane, and a '49 Chevy pickup and there are 14 more.

Auctioneer, Yvette VanDerBrink, says there are some good vehicles up for grabs.

"So if you haven't gotten a Lambrecht vehicles, this is your chance to get one," says Yvette VanDerBrink with VanDerBrink Auctions.  "There's some good stuff in there."

All of the cars have bids on them and some of them are already climbing into the thousands.

Bidders are eager for a second shot at these rare and unique vehicles.

The auction is online only and it ends the 24th.
