Three firefighters were hurt fighting a fire inside an Orange City, Iowa, home, Thursday afternoon.
The fire broke out in the attic of the home at 808 Arizona Avenue. Firefighters found the flames coming from the home's northwest corner when they arrived shortly after 2:00pm. The fire was in the attic, so it was tough to put out because of all of the "void spaces".
Three firefighters sustained minor injuries while putting the fire out. All three were treated and released from an Orange City hospital.
No one was home at the time. Damage is estimated at $200,000.
