A news conference will be held at the Sergeant Bluff Fire Station regarding the incident that occurred on Interstate 29 Tuesday afternoon just south of Sioux City.

Woodbury County Emergency Manager, Gary Brown says Interstate 29 southbound will continue to be closed for a few more hours from Sergeant Bluff to Port Neal.
Brown says traffic is being rerouted to highway 75.
He says they will hopefully have the area open in two hours.
According to Iowa Department of Transportation 511: I-29 southbound: All lanes blocked. Between Exit 134: County Road K25 (near Salix) and Exit 143: IA 376; Singing Hills Boulevard (Sergeant Bluff). All lanes are blocked due to an accident.
