Hopeful models answer casting call in Sheldon


Men and women got ready to strike a pose, Saturday.

America's Next Top Model held a casting call for the reality show in Sheldon, Iowa.

Fourteen people came to walk the runway at Northwest Iowa Community College.

All of those auditioning will have their video and applications sent on to be reviews by producers from the show, but the judging panel picked two outstanding potential models from the pack.

"I just felt like it would be a win win situation for me because I came for the experience but obviously because it's something that I really want,” said Erin Thorpe of Ankeny, Iowa.

"It's something new to me, and I was just informed kind of last minute, but it feels good,” Juan Cruz of Sioux City.

KTIV Morning Anchor Sarah Te Slaa served as one of the judges.

America's Next Top Model airs on our sister station, the Siouxland CW.
