Small business reps. spoke at Norfolk, NE luncheon

Representatives with the Small Business Administration spoke at a luncheon in Norfolk, NE.

The event was sponsored by the Norfolk Area Chamber of Commerce, and was about the impact the Affordable Healthcare Act will have on small businesses.

SBA officials said, that even though there have been wide-reported negatives to the law, there are some positives. More positives particularly for small businesses with 24 or fewer employees.

The SBA said, that roughly 96% of small businesses in the State of Nebraska qualified potentially for that tax incentive. For small business, owners who couldn't make the presentation had another one.

That one was hosted by the Department of Health and Human Services, and runs

the Lifelong Learning Center on the campus of Northeast Community College.
