Despite all the uncertainties over the Hard Rock construction, one thing's for sure, Siouxland will soon be able to order hot dogs from a Sioux City business famous for them.
The Milwaukee Wiener House had to close down, and move, to make way for construction of the new casino.
Co-owner Mike Eliades said the casino has been great to work with.
The shop is a bit behind schedule, but Eliades assures foodies they are right on track, now.
"We appreciate the enthusiasm from our customers. We've been getting a lot of buzz online and we thank everyone for our patience, but we're going to be opening soon. Everything is running smoothly," Eliades said.
Eliades said all that's left is putting in the final touches and bringing in the equipment.
He said they hope to have the restaurant open by the first or second week of January.
