Norfolk, NE schools set new goals to get more students to graduate

NORFOLK, Neb. (KTIV/US92) The Norfolk, Nebraska Public School District is trying to get more student to get their diplomas.

The Board of Education recently approved new goals to try and help the graduation rate through career building, community partnerships and technology.

"…the board decided to follow this with the statement that completion of these goals will result in achieving and maintaining a four-year cohort graduation rate of 90%," Dr. Joni Jo Thompson, Norfolk Public School Superintendent said.

The current graduation rate for Norfolk High School is 85%.
