SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) - A fire in downtown Sioux City Tuesday morning knocked out power to some businesses for a short time.

Crews were called to the corner of 5th and Iowa Streets shortly before 8:30 a.m.

Authorities say this pickup truck owned by Guarantee Roofing caught fire.

The driver pulled over to the side of the road and managed to get out safely.

The fire quickly spread to a nearby utility poll, knocking out power to a few businesses.
