Roads, Rails and Infrastructure all takes a large amount of planning.

Tuesday, The Woodbury County Board of Supervisors discussed their master plan for the county.

McClure Engineering Company President Terry Lutz said they've been meeting with cities in the area, Woodbury county, and local industries.

They're working to figure out a plan for the area that ranges from Sioux City, south to Salix, and the Union Pacific Rail Line to the east, and west to the river.

Lutz asked for more time to review the contract before the board can approve it.

"With CF Industries expansion, there's a tremendous amount of resources coming to the region. A lot of new revenue coming to town, and all the parties are interested in looking at how we can take those resources and leverage those in to further investments in the region to continue to grow jobs," Lutz said.

This means they'll take a further look at things like roads, rail service, water, and telecommunication services in the area..
