Woodbury Co. Jail uses contingency funds to improve security

Woodbury county supervisors are looking to improve jail security.

Sheriff Dave Drew said, 89 cell doors have problems with the locking devices.

Drew says the jail's system often shows the doors are locked... when really they aren't.

To fix the problem, each door would have to be rewired.

That would cost 11 thousand dollars.

County officials said, the money would come from the jail's remodeling fund.
