One person has been seriously injured in a crash near West Point, Neb.

WEST POINT, Neb. (US92) - One person has been seriously injured in a crash near West Point, Nebraska.

The Cuming County Sheriff's office says an unidentified driver was eastbound on K Road about three miles northwest of West Point about 2:15 p.m. Monday.

That's when sheriff's officials say the driver lost control near the 12th Road intersection, and was ejected from the vehicle.

The driver was taken to St. Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point then life-flighted to Creighton Hospital in Omaha with unspecified injuries.

The accident remains under investigation.
