Woodbury Supervisor, David Tripp, pleaded not guilty to criminal charge


SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) A Woodbury County Supervisor and correctional officer, has pleaded not guilty to domestic abuse charges.

Court papers show David Tripp was involved in disturbance with his wife, when he fired a revolver in the air near her.

He's charged with domestic abuse assault.

The state's Attorney General's office has agreed to prosecute the case.

If found guilty, Tripp could be removed from his supervisor seat.

His next court hearing is set for February.
