The Iowa basketball team gets the Christmas holiday off. The 22nd-ranked Hawkeyes don't play again until their Big Ten opener against Nebraska on New Year's Eve.

Iowa's last game, an 86-61 win over Arkansas Pine Bluff, saw the season debut of guard Josh Oglesby, who was sidelined for the first 12 games of the season with a broken foot.
In that game, Oglesby hit his first four shots - all three pointers - and scored 13 points.
Oglesby is excited to be back and help Iowa win games headed into Big Ten play.

"I'm thrilled for the team, going into the Big Ten season 11-2," said Oglesby. "It's a good start for me, and just taking one game at a time now and getting ready for the Big Ten season."

Iowa and Nebraska tip off Tuesday at 6 o clock.
