The Hawkeyes hung out with fans on the beach in advance of Wednesday's Outback Bowl.
With just two days remaining until Iowa squares off against LSU in the Outback Bowl, you'd expect the Hawkeyes are preparing rigorously for the task at hand.
But when your bowl game is in Tampa, it's hard not to notice the sunny skies - and the bright faces of the fans that have traveled south to support the team.
Monday was a party on the beach for Hawkeye fans that made the trip to Florida.
In fact, 7,000 fans invaded Clearwater Beach as they greeted the Hawkeye players, who were able to get away from the grind of prepping for LSU.
It's the kind of support that the players always appreciate.
"It's just awesome," said sophomore quarterback Jake Rudock. "You come off the bus, you hear people screaming for you. Going across the bridge, people holding their thumbs up out the window. It's just a great environment.
Iowa and LSU kick off at noon on Wednesday on ESPN.
