Traditions to ring in the New Year

The countdown to 2014 is underway and Siouxlanders are keeping traditions alive as they get ready to ring in the New Year.

"I'm making a batch of chili, staying home tonight by the fire and tomorrow we're watching football all day long," said Sandy Nelson.

"Gotta get the kiss at midnight, that's for sure," said Alex Erwin. "If you can't miss it. Otherwise there might be some bad luck. Other than that, just have a good time, try to be with friends and family."

"I am going to a musketeer game and then just hanging out with friends," said Kory Voss. "So it's going to be a lot of fun."

"My New Years tradition is to go to the Musketeers games," said Shelby Hakeman. "That's where I have the most fun at."
