NW Iowa Army Reserve Unit is called up for duty


POCAHONTAS, Iowa (KTIV)  For the third time in six years a northwest Iowa Army Reserve Unit has been called up for active duty in Afghanistan.

The 415th Military Police Detachment, based in Pocahontas, Iowa, was deployed to Afghanistan in 2009, and in 2010.

A deployment ceremony is set for 2:00 p.m. on January 18th at Pocahontas High School.
