Arctic air send shivers through Siouxland

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) Temperatures will plummet overnight.

Expect a 25-degree drop from Sunday's high.

It will be 19 degrees below zero on Monday. That's air temperature. The wind chill is expected to be between 33 and 43 degrees below zero.

It's the kind of cold that can burst pipes, disable cars, and close schools, which is what superintendents across Siouxland including here Sioux City have decided to do Monday.
