Warrant issued for suspect in hit-and-run incident

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) - SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -- A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a man, who allegedly hit his girlfriend with her own car outside a busy Sioux City shopping area.

23-year-old Anthony Barton is described as a white male, measuring 6'2", and weighs 235 lbs. He has brown eyes, and brown hair, which he keeps short.

Back on December 19th, police say Barton hit his 22-year-old girlfriend, Karilynn Schroeder, with her car, near the PetSmart store at the Lakeport Commons.

Barton's warrant is for a charge of "going armed with intent."
