Police: Sioux City shooting victim is out of the hospital, suspects still sought

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) - The victim of last Friday's shooting near downtown Sioux City has been released from Mercy Medical Center.

As of Monday, police have not issued an arrest warrant for the man who shot him.

Police say on Friday, 32-year-old Nate McCauley was having a dispute with another man near Court and Oak Street.

That man shot McCauley and left the scene.

McCauley was taken to Mercy Medical Center.

Police are working with the county attorney and expect an arrest warrant to be issued later this week.
