Friendly feud forces South Sioux mayor to don black and gold

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) Sioux City's Mayor was out for revenge, and he got it.

A friendly wager over the Iowa-Nebraska game last November forced South Sioux City, Nebraska's Mayor to wear an "I Love the Iowa Hawkeyes" t-shirt to Monday night's Sioux City City Council meeting.

Last year, it was Bob Scott wearing a Nebraska shirt after Iowa lost to the Cornhuskers.

The win also meant Bill McLarty had to hand over the Iowa-Nebraska plaque.  No sooner, did he take off the black and gold.
