A top 1980's actress will be making a stop in Siouxland.

An actress on one of the biggest shows from the 1980's will be making a stop in Siouxland.
Thursday, the United Way of Siouxland announced that Tracey Gold is the key note speaker for it's Women's Power Lunch.
She is a former child star that is known for her role in Growing Pains.
But, even with all of the fame she's seen her share of hard times including a battle with an eating disorder.
Tracey will be sharing her story of how she overcame life obstacles.
The Women's Power Lunch began in 2001 with an aim to raise funds for single parent scholarships which are given out at Siouxland colleges and universities.
"So people love this event. They know that we normally bring in powerful speakers and speakers who people know so we are very appreciative of the community for supporting us in this event," said Jenna Walsh, Director of Resource Development."
The Power Lunch will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd at the Marina Inn Conference Center.
It is 55 dollars per person for the event and VIP packages as well as tables are available.
