Preliminary hearing held in South Sioux City Murder case

DAKOTA CITY, Neb. (KTIV) - A preliminary hearing was held Monday afternoon in the case of 22-year-old Raymond Gonzalez.

Gonzalez is charged with charged with first degree murder in the death of 28-year-old Bonnie Baker of Sioux City.

Authorities say Baker was shot by Gonzalez inside a mobile home at Siouxland Estates in South Sioux City on December 15 of last year.

Gonzalez is ordered to appear in district court for arraignment on February 3rd.
Dakota County Attorney also announced says in a related case, 25-year-old David Rodriguez will appear on the same date facing a felony charge of possession of a deadly weapon.
