Open House Rock Climbing

Posted:

While rock climbing is not an Olympic sport, children in Siouxland have the opportunity to test out their climbing skills.

The Sioux City Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting an open house for the Rock Stars Climbing Team.

The open house will include free climbing, an opportunity to meet the coach, and to learn more about the Top Rope Season that will be coming up in February.

Participants that are interested in climbing need to be 9 to 17 years old.

The open house will be on Thursday, January 30th from 6pm until 8pm at the Long Lines Family Recreation Center.
