Northern Siouxland has wind chills in the double digits below zero

Wind Chill Advisory for majority of Siouxland 2 p.m. Wednesday until noon Thursday.

Winter Weather Advisory for Sioux, O'Brien, Clay, Lincoln, Lyon, Osceola and Dickinson counties 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Wind Chill Warning for eastern Siouxland from 6 p.m. Wednesday until Noon Thursday.

We have multiple advisories listed above pertaining to the cold weather that lies ahead of us.

Putting it very simply, winds and wind chills will become issues starting Wednesday afternoon when wind chills will likely be in the -10s and -20s for most.

Winds Wednesday will be from the northwest and gust up to 40 miles per hour at times.

High temperatures Wednesday will be in the teens and fall to the single digits by sunset.
