Josh Oglesby scored eight points in Iowa's win over Northwestern.
IOWA CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
Following their loss to Michigan, the 10th ranked Hawkeyes bounced back by crushing Northwestern 76-50 on Saturday.
But, despite the big win, Iowa had its share of troubles.
The Hawkeyes had 10 turnovers and no starter had more than six points in the first half.
Devyn Marble was held scoreless until the second half but did score 14 points, while White finished with just five.
The bench came up big scoring 32 points.
"Me and (Aaron White) didn't necessarily get off to the best start or the best finish at that, either" Devyn Marble said. It was good for guys to come in and get key buckets, but we got stops, too. That was the big thing, we were able to get stops. We didn't get out in transition the way we really wanted to, but we're going to work on that and get ready to do that for Michigan State."
The Hawkeyes now begin a grueling stretch. Three of their next four opponents are in the top 25. They'll battle 3rd ranked Michigan State on Tuesday and follow that up with a trip to Illinois.
Feb. 4, Ohio State heads to Iowa City and four days later they'll get a rematch against Michigan.
