A hearing is continued for Siouxland man who is accused of shooting another man last February

MADISON, Neb. (KTIV/US92) - 24-year-old Arturo Raya of Norfolk, Nebraska was scheduled for a pre-trial hearing Monday morning, but that has been continued until next month.

Raya was arrested in Texas back in July.

He's accused of shooting 20-year-old Devan Key of Norfolk in the abdomen non-fatally at a house party on the 700-block of South 7th Street last February. He faces felony assault and weapons charges.
Court documents show depositions in the case will take place Tuesday.

Key's injuries were not life-threatening. Raya has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Raya's expected back in court for his hearing February 24.
