Man involved in Siouxland high-speed chase receives sentence

SIOUX CITY, Iowa  (KTIV) A man who pleaded guilty for his involvement in a high speed chase through two Siouxland states was sentenced in Woodbury County today.

Shaun Wakefield will spend up to five years in Prison with the possibility of probation after two years.

He also has to pay a 750 dollar fine.

In March of last year, Wakefield along with two others fled from officers, and threw counterfeit money from their vehicle as they raced along Interstate 29.

The chase ended in Sioux City.
