5 people are sent to the hospital following a chain reaction crash in Norfolk, Neb.


NORFOLK, Neb. (KTIV/US92) - Police in Norfolk, Nebraska are investigating a four-vehicle accident that sent five people to the hospital.

It happened late in the afternoon Monday.

Police say three cars were traveling westbound in the inside lane of Benjamin Avenue, when one of the cars slowed to make a left turn on to Queen City.

The car following slowed behind the turning vehicle, leading a third car rear end the second car, pushing it into the car attempting to turn.

No word yet on the names of those involved or extent of injuries, of if any charges were filed.
