Winter Weather Advisory continues for southern Siouxland until 6 a.m. Wednesday

***Winter Weather Advisory for Sac, Calhoun, Crawford, Carroll, Monona, Harrison, Shelby, Burt, Cuming, Stanton, and Thurston counties from until 6 am Wednesday***

***Wind Chill Advisory for the majority of Siouxland from Midnight tonight until Noon Thursday***

The snow developed Tuesday and will continue to increase in coverage Tuesday evening into the early overnight hours.

Widespread 1 to 3 inch amounts are expected with a little more than that possible in southern Siouxland.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until early Wednesday morning for the southern part of the KTIV viewing area where up to 4 inches may fall.

The snow will stop falling by Wednesday, but temperatures are going to be very cold.

In fact, a Wind Chill Advisory is in effect for most of Siouxland from Tuesday night until noon Wednesday with wind chills dipping to around -20 degrees.
