Snow has stopped falling, but blowing snow and low visibilities are possible issues in Siouxland Wednesday morning

Posted:

***Winter Weather Advisory for Sac, Calhoun, Crawford, and Carroll counties until 9 am Today***

***Wind Chill Advisory for the majority of Siouxland until Noon Thursday***

The majority of Siouxlanders will likely have to deal with some snow covered roadways Wednesday morning and some limited visibilities.

Be sure to allow a few extra minutes for your morning commutes Wednesday.

Otherwise, we are facing an extremely cold stretch of temperatures and windchills for the next 48 hours or so.

Highs Wednesday will struggle to make it into the double digits accompanied by strong northwest winds early that will die down a bit later.

Lows Wednesday night will be near -10 for many with windchills in the -20s and -30s.
