For the first time all season, Iowa put together it's most solid 40 minute performance, as the 17 ranked Hawkeyes jumped on the 10th ranked Michigan Wolverines and never looked back in an 85-67 win.
Devyn Marble opening the scoring with nine straight points and never stopped scoring, dropping a game high 26 against Michigan.
It was a total team effort for Iowa, which improved to 6-0 following a loss this season.
The Hawkeyes shot nearly 60 perfect from distance, connecting on 10-3's.
Iowa also outscored Michigan in the paint and won the rebounding battle to earn one of their most complete victories of the season.
"We felt like, to beat Michigan, you have to play the kind of defense that we played," Head Coach Fran McCaffery said. "They have so many different weapons, so, it was not only getting stops it was getting stops and then running and getting offensive opportunities in transition and not giving them seconds (second chance points)."
The Hawkeyes return to the court February 16th to battle Penn State.
