A Siouxland school district ends its search for a new high school principal

NORFOLK, NE. (KTIV/US92) - A Siouxland school district has ended its search for a new high school principal.

Officials with the Norfolk School District say interim high school principal, Jake Luhr, was chosen for the new role.  School leaders announced on Friday that the district had chosen Luhr, who's been interim principal for the past four months.

Luhr was named to that post back in October, after previous principal James Lake stepped down due to what were called philosophical differences with district leaders.

The Norfolk School Board is scheduled to take up Luhr's contract during its meeting Monday night.
