Onawa & Monona County get Skilled Iowa Community recognition

DES MOINES, Iowa (KTIV) Iowa Workforce Development announces the city of Onawa, Iowa has achieved the Skilled Iowa Community status.

This after meeting all the qualifications for both business commitment and workforce certification.

The initiative helps develop the workforce by encouraging workers to ear the National Career Readiness Certificate.

Along with Onawa, Monona County has also be recognized for its achievement at the county level.
