IDA GROVE, Iowa (KTIV) - It's ok to drink the water again in Ida Grove, Iowa.

A boil advisory has been lifted.

Officials had advised people to boil water before drinking it or cooking with it after a water main break on Tuesday led to a loss of pressure to the supply.

That raised concerns over the potential for bacterial contamination.

The repairs have been made and officials say it's no longer necessary to boil water before its consumed.
