Autopsy results are concluded in the death of a Wayne State College student

WAYNE, Neb. (KTIV)  Authorities have released the final autopsy results for a Wayne State College student who was found dead over the weekend.

Officials say 18 year-old Eddie Key, III, died of pulmonary edema, as a result of bacterial pneumonia of the lungs.

According to the Mayo Clinic, pulmonary edema is caused by a fluid build up around the air sacs in the lungs.

Key's body was found in his dorm room on Saturday.

He played defensive end for the college's football team.

A visitation service is set for Friday in Lincoln.
