ESTHERVILLE, Iowa (KTIV) - A Siouxland school was locked down Thursday after a bullet was found in a classroom.

Two students found the bullet from a .22 caliber gun in a classroom at Estherville Lincoln Central Middle School in Estherville around 9 a.m. Thursday.

The school went into lockdown while authorities investigated.

They looked through lockers and interviewed students.

Three hours later the lockdown was lifted as no threat was found.

Back in December another unused bullet was found inside of the school.
