Judge sentences Estherville, IA man to prison for dealing meth

ESTHERVILLE, Iowa (KTIV) -

ESTHERVILLE, Iowa (KTIV)- A federal judge has sentenced an Estherville, Iowa man to more than 4 years in prison for dealing methamphetamine.

Prosecutors say 25-year-old Jose Lopez, Jr. admitted his involvement in a conspiracy to distribute more than 1-point-5 kilograms of meth from 2009 through May 2013.

Lopez, Jr., and a co-defendant, traveled to Wisconsin and Minnesota to obtain meth for later distribution in Iowa.
