A tale of two seasons in Siouxland

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) Despite the sun and warmth Monday afternoon, Old Man Winter reminded us earlier in the day that he isn't done yet.

Heavy, wet snow blown around by strong winds made for slick roads and treacherous travel conditions.

And after the sun came out, folks were busy shoveling sidewalks and scraping windshields before heading to work or school.

Sioux City police had several reports of cars sliding off roads

Several Siouxland schools started classes late.  That included Bishop Heelan High School, who along with 3,000 other customers were dealing with a power outage.

Later in the day, only little piles of snow remained.  This after temperatures soared into the 50s.  Leaving many to ditch their winter coats, for spring ones.
