'Cruise Week' features cooking contest at Siouxland Center for Active Generations in Sioux City

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - We get to sample some great recipes on What's Cookin' here at KTIV, but Tuesday KTIV Anchor Matt Breen got to sample some other tasty items at the Siouxland Center for Active Generations.

Matt was one of few select judges for their "Cruise Week" Cooking Contest.

Teamed up with Siouxland District Health Department Executive Director Kevin Grieme, we were in charge of deciding the best breads.

There were several great options to choose from, but the Cantaloupe Bread from the cooks at NorthPark Senior Living won out.

The Apache Cheese Bread from Sunrise Retirement took second.

There were appetizer and dessert categories, too.
