Suspect charged in connection with fatal South Sioux City, NE shooting in court

DAKOTA CITY, Neb. (KTIV) A suspect in connection with the December 15th shooting in South Sioux City, NE pleaded not guilty Wednesday morning to a charge of possession of a stolen firearm.

26-year old Anthony Housman of Pender, Nebraska appeared before a judge, who lowered Housman's bond from $150,000 to $50,000.

Housman was arrested several days after the initial shooting, after officers serving a search warrant in connection with the homicide found the stolen firearm.

Authorities say 22 year-old Raymond Gonzalez fatally shot 28-year old Bonnie Baker inside a mobile home in Siouxland Estates.

25-year old David Rodriguez is also accused in connection with the shooting.

Both pleaded not guilty to their charges.

Housman has also been charged with an accessory to a felony.  His bond in that matter is set at $75,000.  A court hearing on that case is set for March 10th.
