Dakota City, NE family asks for help following house fire


A Dakota City, Nebraska, family, who lost everything in a fire, is asking for help in rebuilding their lives.

The fire destroyed the home Thursday afternoon. Investigators say they're lucky to be alive. A father, and his child, were asleep when the fire broke out.

The family is asking for donations of basic necessities, including:


Boy’s 10-12 shoe size 4-5

Girl’s shoe size 12

Ladies shoe size 7-7.5

Men's shoe size - 9.5-10


Girls size 6 slim pants - size 5/6 & 3T shirts

Boys size 12 pants - size 10/12 & 12/14 shirts

Ladies size 11 pants - size medium/large shirts

Mens size 29 waste/30 long pants

Cash donations can also be made at US Bank locations, just mention the Wilde family.
