About 200 people spent their Saturday night supporting GiGi's Playhouse at their 4th annual gala.
GiGi's Playhouse is a place for children and adults with down syndrome. It provides play groups, tutoring, and support for families in the area.
The center's board members said it's grown tremendously in the past few years from just a few families to more than 70 as of now.
And, the gala is a great way to raise funds for the organization.
They're hoping to raise about $40,000 from the event.
"We're just really excited this year because people are starting to recognize GiGi's and know that it's a great place for adults and children with down syndrome to come. Our families are growing, our people are coming, and we're just excited to have a fundraiser like this, where people can come and see the good works that GiGi's does," GiGi's Playhouse Board Vice President Velvet Jeratowski said.
The emcee's for the evening's event were KTIV's Matt Breen and KSUX's Tony Michaels.
