A 17-year-old faces robbery charges after authorities say he targeted a convenience store in Battle Creek, IA


BATTLE CREEK, Iowa (KTIV) - The Ida County Sheriff says last Friday, Broch Halbach, 17, of Webster City entered Sparky's Convenience Store in Ida Grove, Iowa with a hand gun.

He says the teen pointed the weapon at the store clerk demanding money.

Halbach is currently being held at the juvenile home in Eldora.

He also faces charges in Hamilton County for a different robbery.
