Reynolds talks about a future run for governor

Iowa Governor Terry Branstad says he wants voters to keep him in office for four more years, but some are already asking who will eventually succeed him, and even the Governor himself is weighing in.

Branstad recently said in an interview on Iowa Public Television that Lieutenant Governor Kim Reynolds is next in line.

As Branstad grooms Reynolds for the role, he says she's already pretty prepared.  But, does she even want the job?

"I don't think I think that far ahead. I love serving as the Lieutenant Governor. It's just an amazing opportunity. I've really been able to be a part of the executive branch and see first hand how you run government from that level. So, you know I'm just going to continue to be the best lieutenant governor that I can be,” said Reynolds during an interview in the KTIV studio.

Branstad is in his 20th year as Governor of Iowa.
