Dordt and Morningside men to meet in GPAC final following semifinal wins

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) - The Dordt and Morningside men will meet in the GPAC final after each won semifinal matchups on Saturday.

The Defenders defeated Hastings, 83-67, behind Nathan Rindels' 21 points Saturday.

Dordt improves to 28-4 on the season and will play in its fourth straight GPAC championship.

Morningside will meet the Defenders in the final after defeating Dakota Wesleyan in overtime, 108-106.

Senior Danny Rudeen led the Mustanges with 36 points, while Ryan Tegtmeier added 21.

Andrew Christen scored the game-winning basket with one second left in overtime to lift the Mustangs to the win.

The GPAC championship takes place Tuesday in Sioux Center, Iowa.
