SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
It was a crowded room at the ribbon cutting ceremony for Blue Earth Marketing which is a subsidiary of Ho-Chunk, Inc.
Officials with Blue Earth Marketing say they are a full service marketing firm that serves seven states.
The ribbon cutting ceremony also signified the plans for a custom art business called Blue Earth Gallery.
"What we've tried to do is sort of blend some of the modern with the traditional and we make a lot of our own artwork for the facilities and our buildings. We try to honor the past but still be forward looking," said Lance Morgan, Ho-Chunk CEO.
Blue Earth Gallery is projected to open at the end of March.
Morgan says Ho-Chunk is also renovating the first floor and atrium of the center.
They'll also open a cafe in the building next week.
Sweet Water Cafe will serve various lunch items as well as coffee.
