Spencer, IA police arrest a 16-year-old boy after threats were made at the high school

SPENCER, Iowa (KTIV) - Authorities in Spencer, Iowa have arrested at 16-year-old boy after threats were made at the high school Thursday.

The school was dismissed an hour early.

The teen came forward Friday, saying he made the threat.

He's been charged with making terroristic threats.

The teen has been released to his parents and has been referred to juvenile probation authorities.
