SPENCER, Iowa (KTIV) -
The town of Spencer, Iowa celebrated the family, Saturday. Area organizations set up booths at the 4th annual Family Fest.
There were 30 different exhibitors.
Organizers hoped the event would be both fun and educational for the more than 14-hundred guests who filled the Clay County Regional Events Center.
One of the highlights was the "Safety City" filled with police cars, an ambulance, fire truck, and something new.
"This year we added car seat safety to our safety city area. That was something that is available here in the Spencer area, and people need to know how to access that," Amy Simpson, Positively Spencer Youth.
